Press conference with Swedish Prime Minister and Prime Minister of Latvia

On Thursday 25 April, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson will receive Prime Minister of Latvia Evika Siliņa for talks. A joint press conference will be held at Rosenbad in the afternoon.

Time:
Place: Pre-registered journalists are welcome to attend in the Press Centre, Rosenbad. Entrance via Drottninggatan 1.

Practical information: Advance registration is required by 12.00 on Thursday 25 April via email to Oscar Samuelsson (see press contact). Please give your name and the name of your editorial office, and indicate whether you are participating as a reporter or a photographer. Please also attach a copy of your press credentials.

Attendance is subject to available space. Entry from 13.05.

The Prime Ministers will discuss the countries’ bilateral cooperation and current security issues, such as the continued support to Ukraine and cooperation in NATO, including Sweden’s contribution to NATO’s enhanced presence in Latvia. 

The Latvian visit to Sweden will last two days. Ms Siliņa will also meet with representatives of Swedish businesses, including in the defence industry, and visit Gothenburg with a business delegation.

The press conference will be held in English.
